More than 200 people have welcomed the opening of the new Bulgar Restaurant. The restaurant, which is located in Hotel Marinela (former restaurant “Lozenets”) opened on December 15th. Famous people from Bulgarian showbiz, politicians, businessmen and many VIP guests first tried selected dishes from Bulgarian cuisine in a modern interpretation of Chef Vladimir Arnautski and his team.
The name of the restaurant comes from the grain crop, which for centuries has been traditional for Bulgarian livelihood. The symbol of the restaurant is the deer – it is present in the restaurant logo and is an essential element in the interior design. And it is really impressive – a mix of wood, metal and leather with attention to every detail.
Bulgar’s menu is a modern reading of the Bulgarian cuisine – selected from dozens of recipes preserved for millennia in grandmothers cookbooks and passed as legends by the masters of culinary art.
